Intro to Birdwatching: A Two-Part Class

Discover the world of birds in this beginner-friendly class led by San Mateo County Bird Alliance field trip leaders. The class has two sessions — please plan to attend both:

Part 1: Classroom — Wednesday, July 29: Learn to identify common local species, use binoculars and field guides, and understand bird habitats, migration, and conservation.

Part 2: Field Trip — Saturday, August 1: Join us at a local park (details provided at the first class) to put your new skills to work with guided, real-time birding practice!

Bring your curiosity and love for the outdoors and let’s explore the skies together. All skill levels welcome. Loaner binoculars available.
