Thornewood Open Space and Schilling Lake offer a peaceful hiking experience with easy-to-navigate, mostly flat trails. The 2-mile loop will take about 1.5 to 2 hours and features scenic lake views, abundant wildlife, and relaxing picnic areas.
Perfect for birdwatching and photography, the area has benches for breaks and restrooms at the trailhead. It’s an ideal spot to enjoy nature at a relaxed pace!
