Learn How to Surf

Come ride some waves in this beginner surf lesson from Adventure Out! No surfing experience is needed to participate, though basic swimming skills are recommended. All rental gear is provided.
Adventure Out has been a City of Pacifica licensed surf school for over 22 years and is the only surf school in the Bay Area that is accredited by the National Surf School & Instructor Association.
We will cover all the basics of ocean safety and beginner mechanics with a land lesson and warmup on the sand. Then we’ll head out to catch some gentle breakers as the instructors rotate around and help each student catch waves one-on-one.
